Criteria for Paid Repair
The following cases are subject to paid repair regardless of warranty status:
・The product is past the warranty period
・Physical damage or cosmetic damage due to misuse
・Water damage, submersion, or component corrosion due to misuse
・Unauthorized disassembly or modification by the customer
・Flashing of unofficial OS or unauthorized software/data manipulation
・Damage caused by use of unauthorized accessories
・Defects resulting from use contrary to the user manual or company guidelines
・Damage caused by natural disasters (lightning, fire, earthquake, flood, power surge, etc.)
・Natural wear of consumable parts (battery, earphones, cables, external memory cards, accessories, etc.)
Basis for Calculating Paid Repair Fees
Paid repair fees are determined based on diagnosis of the symptom and cause, in accordance with the company's established standards.
Repair Fee Estimate
・For paid repairs, a diagnostic will be performed after receiving the device, and a cost estimate will be provided.
・If additional issues are found during repair, a revised estimate will be provided.
Payment Method for Repair Fees
・Payment is, in principle, by cash on delivery.

(3) Repair Process

Repair During Warranty Period
・If a defect occurs under normal use within the warranty period, the company will replace the device (with a new unit or equivalent) at its discretion.
Outside Warranty Period
・For out-of-warranty cases, the company will replace the device at a fee (with a new unit or equivalent) at its discretion.
・If the same symptom recurs within 3 months of a paid repair under normal use, the repair will be provided free of charge.
・If, outside the warranty period, the reported defect cannot be reproduced and the company determines repair is unnecessary, a diagnostic fee will apply.
・Even if the customer cancels the repair request after the device has been received, a diagnostic fee will apply.

(4) Notes When Requesting Repair

Customers must acknowledge the following before requesting repair:
・Our repair service involves replacing the device (with a new or equivalent unit) and the replacement will be delivered in factory-reset condition.
・Data, settings, and applications on the original device will not be transferred.
・Re-installation of user-installed apps and configuration of settings are the customer's responsibility.
・The company is not liable for data, programs, or settings stored on the device being serviced.
※For the transfer or reissuance of points, electronic money, accounts, etc., please contact the respective service providers.
※Costs associated with data migration or reissuance are the customer's responsibility.
・The company is not liable for defects caused by third-party actions, carrier or app provider service disruptions, or software specification changes.

(5) Scope of Liability and Product Liability

・The warranty under this repair policy is voluntarily provided by the Company and does not extend or guarantee liability under applicable laws.
