Documents you need to unlock your device at our Service Center.

If a representative or another person (not the registered account holder) visits the Service Center, please bring the mobile phone,
power of attorney, personal seal, certificate of seal impression, and the visitor's government-issued photo ID.

※ For minors under 19, who are legally incapable of independent legal acts, service is provided after verification of a legal guardian or custodian (family relationship certificate).

Corporate Corporate subscriber Copy of business registration certificate, corporate seal certificate (corporate seal impression), power of attorney (seal impression required), visitor's government-issued photo ID, carrier certification document for repair verification (unlock)
Minor Legal guardian or immediate family member Mobile carrier subscription confirmation, certified copy of resident registration, visitor's government-issued photo ID

Study abroad / Immigration Password verification after transferring ownership to the actual user
Runaway / Missing Supporting document bearing the official seal of the chief of the police station with jurisdiction (e.g., investigation cooperation request), mobile carrier subscription confirmation, certified copy of resident registration, visitor's government-issued photo ID
Deceased Death certificate, mobile carrier subscription confirmation, certified copy of resident registration, visitor's government-issued photo ID
Foreign national Power of attorney, signature verification certificate (confirmation letter from the home country's embassy in Korea), visitor's government-issued photo ID
Unactivated device Pattern unlock is not available; service is available after activation when the account holder presents a government-issued photo ID (or when proof of device change history issued to the existing subscriber is provided)
If activation is not possible, purchase history is verified and the device is fully reset after confirming unactivated status.
Deactivated device If the actual user of a deactivated device is the registered account holder and the carrier can issue cancellation documents, please bring the cancellation documents and government-issued photo ID
※ Cancellation document names may vary by carrier (e.g., subscription ledger, subscription documents, cancellation application).
  • Documents required for unlock must have been issued within three months of the issue date.
  • Device information on carrier certification documents for repair verification (unlock) must match the device for which you wish to remove the screen lock.
  • Unlock-related documents are returned to you after verification or shredded immediately upon your request.
